Congratulations to the first graduating class of the Pierce County Fire Training Consortium: Firefighter Recruit Class 2023-A1!

The 22 recruit firefighters (representing East Pierce Fire & Rescue, Central Pierce Fire & Rescue, and West Pierce Fire & Rescue) endured 22 weeks of grueling training and emerged victorious and ready to serve their departments and communities.

The eight East Pierce recruits now begin four weeks of post-academy training to learn the EPFR way. Special shout out to the following EPFR recruits for their recognition:
