After much anticipation, our duty crew moved into, and is now responding from, the new (and beautiful!) Headquarters/Station 111 in Bonney Lake! Administrative staff will begin transitioning to the new station over the next several days.
Our new address is 8601 Main Street East, Bonney Lake. Once we’re settled, we’ll invite our community to celebrate with us during a grand opening.
Although it will take time to unpack, we wanted to share a sneak peek of how move-in day went.
The new headquarters station not only houses our 27 shift firefighters but also accommodates 36 personnel from 5 divisions that had been spread out over 5 separate buildings due to a lack of space at the old headquarters. Bringing our administrative staff together under one roof will help promote efficiency and productivity.
The new apparatus bay holds several response apparatus and vehicles, including;
- Engine 111 (first out engine)
- Medic 111 (first out medic unit)
- Battalion Chief 111
- Brush 111 (wildland)
- Several reserve vehicles
The new Station 111/Headquarters is designed to meet the community’s needs for the next 50 years. During that timeframe, we expect additional emergency units to be needed.
