CPR and First Aid Training

In 1960, a group of resuscitation pioneers combined mouth-to-mouth breathing with chest compressions to create Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation, the lifesaving action we now call “CPR.” This action, when provided immediately after a sudden cardiac arrest, can double – even triple – a victim’s chance of survival.

CPR has saved lives for over 50 years!  Never taken a CPR class?  Need to renew your CPR certification?  We can help!

Which class do I need?

East Pierce Fire and Rescue teaches the American Safety & Health Institute (ASHI) curriculum.  The ASHI CPR, AED and Basic First Aid training programs help students develop basic first aid knowledge, skills and the confidence to respond.  ASHI classes are an excellent choice for both the community and workplace setting, and conforms to the 2015 American Heart Association Guidelines Update for CPR, ECC, and First Aid.
