Tehaleh – March 28, 2026

The 2nd Annual Tehaleh Easter Egg Hunt, hosted by East Pierce Firefighters Local 3520 and the Tehaleh HOA, will be held at Discovery Park, 17834 Cascadia Boulevard East. The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., with staggered egg hunts to support families with multiple children. A sensory-friendly egg hunt will be offered at 10 a.m. for children who benefit from a quieter environment. Families attending the general event are asked to arrive no earlier than 10:30 a.m. to allow for a quiet space during the sensory-friendly hunt. Parking is available at Tehaleh Heights Elementary School, with a short walk to the event area. Children will participate in age-grouped hunts as follows:

  • Ages 6–9: 11:00 a.m.
    Ages 3–5: 11:20 a.m.
    Ages 0–2: 11:40 a.m.

A Brief History of Local 3520’s Easter Egg Hunts

East Pierce Firefighters have proudly hosted Easter Egg Hunts in our communities for decades.

  • South Prairie began in 1958 and has been a longstanding community tradition for generations of families.

  • Sumner began in 1991 and continues to grow each year.

  • These events were not held in 2020 and 2021 due to the pandemic.

We are proud to continue these traditions and look forward to serving our communities for many years to come.
